Emile Junge, violin

Emile Junge (1982) studied violin with Coosje Wijzenbeek and Jaring Walta at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague. He continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig with professor Sebastian Breuninger. He graduated there in 2007 with his “Diplomorchester Musiker”. Emile has won several prizes at competitions such as the “Cherles Hennen Chamber Competition” (1996) and the “Iordens viooldagen” (1996). His activities include numerous concerts, performances and projects in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, The Czech Republic and Serbia. Emile has attended masterclasses and additional courses with Vera Beths, professor Munteanu (Hamburg) and Gregory Kurtag (Summer Academy of the Dutch National Youth Orchestra, 2001). Emile was employed at the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra; Burlesque Musical Theatre ”Singulares Regis Custodes”, the “Medieval and Renaissance Music Ensemble” and has been a guest member of “I solisti di Zagreb” since 2011.
